Dr Justin Nguyen, DMD, MD

ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON

Dr. Justin matriculated into his top choice for dental school and earned his doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) degree from Harvard University. While there, he was elected class president and held several national and international positions including being selected to intern at the World Health Organization (WHO) / Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) headquarters in Washington, D.C. and also served as a site director for Oral Health Across Nations (OHAN).

Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Justin matched into his first choice for medical school and oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) residency at Case Western Reserve University. He subsequently earned his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree and OMFS certificate while serving as an OMFS resident physician at some of the top hospitals in the country including the Cleveland Clinic (CCLCM), ranked #2 hospital in the country by U.S. News & World Report, as well as University Hospitals Cleveland (UHCMC) and Metrohealth Medical Centers (MHMC), both level I trauma centers. In addition, after obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Justin completed an internship in general surgery and spent extensive time rotating on other surgical subspecialties including Head and Neck Oncology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Trauma Surgery, and Pediatric Surgery.

Dr. Justin has extensive training in full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery including removal of infected teeth, removal of wisdom teeth, placement of dental implants, and performing advance dentoalveolar surgeries including bone grafting, sinus lifts, and full mouth dental rehabilitation.

In his spare time, Dr. Justin enjoys traveling, hiking, watching movies and spending time with his family and friends in Placentia.
